Conferences

Nutreco and our divisions, Skretting and Trouw Nutrition, host two of the most prominent industry events for aquaculture and agriculture stakeholders on alternating years. Read on for more information on our AquaVision and Agrivision conferences.

AquaVision

AquaVision is the world’s premier aquaculture business conference, attracting a diverse group of participants to Stavanger, Norway, every two years. The conference, organised by Skretting and Nutreco since 1996, has established itself as an important meeting place for leaders, communities and stakeholders from across and beyond the aquaculture space to discuss the most relevant topics within the industry.

AquaVision 2020 convened participants for the first time in a global online conference. This free-to-attend event, broadcast from Stavanger in October, explored ways to best meet market needs in a post-COVID-19 world while also delivering global solutions that help address the huge burdens being placed on our vulnerable planet. Headline speakers included Peter Hinssen, Rachel Botsman and Catherine Tubb.

Historically, approximately 450 participants from 40 countries participate in AquaVision programmes. Last year’s free online format hosted an audience of 2,300.

June 13-15 2022 will mark the 14th AquaVision conference.

AgriVision

AgriVision brings together key stakeholders in the international feed-to-food chain, providing a platform for strategic debate on current and future global feed, food and agri business topics and enabling delegates to network and strengthen relationships. AgriVision is aimed at board-level executives in food and agribusiness, influential politicians and key members of NGOs.

AgriVision aspires to shift minds, develop new ideas and inspire approaches for the benefit of all those involved in the animal protein food chain.

The last Agrivision with the theme "Future Matters", organised by Trouw Nutrition and Nutreco, has taken place in  October 2021. The recordings and more information can be found on the special Agrivision website.
